Limit on Database Size

For VPS-Cloud and Dedicated Servers, Including Managed Servers, there is NO set limit on how many databases you can have, nor how much space to use for your databases.
This is a limit that you, as the server administrator, have control over.

If you have a shared or resller hosting plan with us, and the limit is something you'd rather not deal with, or are already having caping issues, then we recommend you switch to our VPS-Cloud, or best yet, our Dedicated Servers for full customized flexibility.

Why would a Database Server have some limits?
The limist set for the databases allow the administrator to ensure proper performance on their web server. This is important for true stability across all server functions that may be using this.

Should I set a limit for Databases on my Dedicated Server?
The desicion is truly up to you. However, it is always good practice, as it can help avoid code/content injections to your database, regardless of the choice you've decided to implement.

Can you help me setup a database on my server?
We can only help you if you have a Fully Managed Dedicated Server. If you truly need our help with this, there will be a fee for assisting you with the installation. However, we feel that you may have to opt for either our partially managed or Fully managed dedicated servers for best support, and less headaches on your end.
