Cancellations, Refunds and Account Credits

We understand there may be many reasons you need to terminate your service with us. Most likely you had a short-term project and you've fullfilled your goal. To cover the most important concerns regarding Cancellations and refunds, please continue reading.

How do I cancel my service?

In most cases, all you need to do is visit your service page and click the "Request Cancellation" button. This will automatically initiate a termination order for your service.
During our latest website update, the button may have been removed or placed on a different locations, to prevent accidental cancellations.
You can also send a support ticket to our billing department specifying the service(s) you need to cancel. Your request will be handled in the order it was received.

How are refunds handled?

Most of our services will have up to 14 days grace period to request a cancellation upon initial purchase. When you request a refund because the service was not what you intended, or another legitimate reason, the service will be cancelled and the payment will be reverted minus processing fees. Refunds on renewals or outside these dates will be processed differently and may be negated.

There will be no refunds for renewals of web hosting, mail servers and service add-ons. But you will get service credit for upgrading to a next level tier server plan.

If you submitted a refund request outside this grace period, your claim will be denied, unless you submit sufficient proof to a valid bonafide request (fraud, identity theft, and similar will be considered for your case).

There will NOT be any refunds for services from third party providers such as SiteLock, CodeGuard, Comodo, Impress.ly, Weebly, and Personalized Services.

In some cases, you will not be provided with a financial refund, but an account credit. This is specially true for service downgrades.

Refunds may take approximately 15 business days to complete, as they must clear validation and acceptance by our billing and financial department.

How do I use Account Credit?

If you received an account credit, you can use it as part of your payment, and only pay the difference, if necessary.
If you still have an available balance, it can roll over to the next renewal period, or you can choose to use it for registering a new service with us.
Please note that account credit cannot be exchanged for money, at this time.
